“It's a fact of life that progress is almost exclusively generated through people. If you're not sensitive to the needs of people within your organization, you're not going to be effective.”

About the Founder

Raised in a family of pragmatic idealists, I grew up believing that challenge and adversity is a part of life but we can overcome anything through hard work. This fostered tenacity and a belief that I can achieve anything, which has led me through big moves, law school, and a career spent guiding organizations through major transformations.

Now I use this mindset to help organizations make the leap from what is known to the unknown, so they can achieve real change and thrive. With experience spanning from employment law to Big 4 consulting, serving on multiple boards of non-profits, to advising government agencies and integrating cultures after a major acquisition, I understand what makes change possible as well as the headwinds that get in the way.

Along the way, I have learned a few key truths:

  • A thriving culture exists where employees feel seen, understood, and empowered and understand how their work connects to the organizational mission.

  • Taking an organization through significant change is not a straight path. Trust is the cornerstone for change management and requires intentional focus on openness, credibility, and collaboration to inspire confidence in your team.

  • Nonprofit and public service organizations are especially underserved in receiving support for employee retention, and they deserve corporate-level counsel in a manageable, flexible format.

I take these learnings and lean into my ability to create a space for employees to open up and be involved in the change; so they move from a place of resistance, to a believer, to an evangelist.
